History:

Frank is a past-president of the Florida Publishers Association, a former member of the board of directors of the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA), and a Commissioner in his home town. Prior to starting Ocean Publishing, Frank Gromling was the owner of an international services company.

Frank is a frequent keynote, conference and seminar speaker on a variety of subjects, including, among others, book publishing, marketing, leadership, personal protection, and business organization. As a publisher, business executive, conservationist, adventurer and educator, Frank brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to all of his presentations, leaving audiences informed, excited and entertained.

Established in late 2002 by Frank Gromling, Ocean Publishing is an independent traditional press. That means they do things the old-fashioned way by making a financial investment in an author and a manuscript. They produce and promote each selected book at their own expense, with authors expected to assist by having their own web sites and blogs, and by engaging in presentations, signings, interviews, and such.

They are recognized as a national publishing house which has made its mark in the publishing world with quality books and a belief in giving back to the community and their industry. They are active in many local, state and national projects in conservation and publishing, as well as civic and religious programs to help humans and animals.

"We have a beautiful and fun retail store and art gallery on A1A right across from the Flagler Pier. Here we have our books for sale, along with colorful art by noted artist Rick Cannizzaro. If you like books and art about all that nature provides, you have to stop in to browse. Our art gallery has originals, framed prints, and unframed prints, all very reasonably priced. If you’re a visitor, and ask us nicely, we might even ship it home for free!
